EA has today revealed the Medal of Honor: Warfighter's Limited Edition will come loaded with a beta key for Battlefield 4.
Those who pre-order the collector's edition before its October 23 release will receive access to the Battlefield 4 beta when it goes live (sometime in fall 2013).
Like Battlefield 3, Warfighter is to be powered by the Frostbite 2 Engine. The title will focus on combat grounded in reality, with battles that are based on (or inspired by) real-world encounters.
Details regarding Battlefield 4 are a little thin on the ground still. Given the timescale mentioned it looks likely that it will be a next-gen title, once again powered by Frostbite 2. Battlefield 3 is still proving to be incredibly popular, and EA will be hoping the sequel receives a similar reception as they try to make up ground on the all-conquering Call of Duty franchise.
