More Wii U units than PS4 online at Target on Black Friday

These days Black Friday is not only the biggest day/weekend of sales in North America, but the practice has spread across the Atlantic to our shores. One of the biggest retail chains in America is Target and yesterday took the opportunity to share some highlights of their sales on Black Friday. Perhaps a bit surprisingly they wrote "Gaming consoles were popular in stores and online, including the Nintendo Wii U, Which was the top-selling item on Target.com." (via Target's pressroom) Of course, this statement does not indicate that Wii U sold more than PS4 and Xbox One at their actual stores, but at least as far as online shoppers go Wii U came out winning.

There are of course no actual numbers as far as units sold goes, but perhaps Wii U is doing better during this all important holiday season that will likely either lead to Nintendo quickly killing off the Wii U in favour NX or if things pick up, perhaps they'll run the two in parallel for a few years.
