With the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series coming up next year, Nintendo has announced some special initiatives and re-releases for some of the most important titles of the saga. Alongside the re-launch of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, planned for next March, the Japanese company has announced that certain data acquired in the game and saved in Link Wolf Amiibo will be imported to the new highly anticipated title in the series, The Legend of Zelda Wii U. Nintendo didn't offer any details on what this data will do in the game, but it's possible they'll give us more details in the future.

Moreover, in order to make the wait for the new instalment in the series less distressing, Nintendo announced that other two classic titles for Nintendo DS, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, will be available on Virtual Console Wii U and you can buy them right now. Until November 19th, players who buy one of these two games at price of €9.99 or equivalent, they will be able to buy the second one with a 50% discount, if the purchase is made on the same console.

Hopefully in the next few Nintendo Direct, the company won't be so tight-lipped about The Legend of Zelda Wii U, and we will finally get some more intel on the highly anticipated game.
