Hit Monkey revealed

High Moon and Activision have joined forces with Marvel and are working on a Hit Monkey game. We know this because there's a new website for the title.

The teaser image reveals little, other than a likely 2013 launch and the tagline "$#*! just got bananas."

Hit Monkey is one of those games that does exactly what it says on the tin. A Macaque learns his trade through watching an assassin train for an inevitable battle. When the battle eventually comes the assassin, and all of Hit Monkey's Macaque friends, are killed. It's a this point that our primate protagonist goes on a rip-roaring rampage of revenge, using his new found skills to take down his enemies.

Hit Monkey is being made by Transformers dev High Noon, and given their recent track record we can hope for a polished and accomplished game when it launches sometime next year.
