Layers of Fear coming to Xbox One Game Preview

On Steam you can buy games that are still in development, through the Early Access program. But did you know Micorosft has a similar feature called Xbox Game Preview? Well, they do and later on this fall horror game Layers of Fear will arrive on the service.

Based on the reception the PC version has gotten, with as much as 97% out of 1500 players giving it a positive rating, horror fans are likely in for a good scare. According to the developers about 20% of the development remains, but the main features are already in place. Besides, give good feedback, and you may influence the final game.

As far as the story and concept goes, here's how developer Bloober Team describes the game:

"Layers of Fear is a psychedelic adventure horror game about a madness-engulfed insane painter striving to create the work of his life. You will learn the dark story of his past while gathering carefully crafted personal items that can be found in the game. Traverse the vision-induced, constantly shifting house full of supernatural phenomena, where each move of the camera can change the environment, and discover the true motive of the artist. The thick atmosphere will keep you on edge at all times, building the mood layer by layer."
