It won't come as a big surprise that Microsoft have big plans for the Halo: Reach release. Just as with Halo 3 the game will come in three editions; standard, limited, and legendary. Take a look at the packaging and contents below:
• Game Disc in custom case modeled after a recovered ONI data module
• A custom in-game Elite armor set for use in Reach's multiplayer modes
• Artifact Bag containing a brand-new piece of the extended Halo universe: The personal notes and documents of the creator of the SPARTAN program: Dr. Catherine Halsey.
• Dr. Halsey's ONI Security Badge
• Embroidered Spartan II Patch
• The complete "Halo: Reach" collection. In addition to the game disc and manual, this edition also includes:
• Exclusive Noble Team statue from McFarlane Toys. Individually molded, hand-painted and numbered.
• UNSC-themed custom packaging
• An exclusive in-game Spartan armor effect
• Complete contents of the Halo: Reach Limited Edition, including: ONI data module box, Dr. Halsey's Journal, Embroidered Spartan II patch, Dr. Halsey's ONI Badge, and the Limited Edition Elite in-game armor.
Bungie have also released a new ViDoc focusing on the upcoming beta test...
"The time has come for Bungie's farewell to the Halo series, and they bid farewell with the biggest and most epic chapter in the series to date."
Nothing will be lost however, as all of the news articles, forums and groups were imported into the current Bungie.net back in 2013.
Reach made its debut on PC and Xbox One in its remastered form earlier this month, and it was received well.
The classic game is almost a decade old, and has just landed on PC and Xbox for players to try out once again.
The service is expanding even further, from Overcooked 2 to The Division and plenty of other titles.
The Steam version has only just arrived, with players flooding to the Master Chief Collection to try it.
