Most console-owners probably remember Free Radical for their Timesplitters-games, and Playstation 3-owners might remember them mostly for Haze (or go into denial when that game is mentioned). When the company was about to be closed down, Crytek suddenly bought them and some of us have been expecting - and hoping - for a new Timesplitters based on the Cryengine.
But nope - Crytek have now said that Crytek UK, which is the new name given to Free Radical, is working on the multiplayer part of Crysis 2. Any specific details about what the multiplayer will feature have yet to surface, but according to VG247 there will be differences between the PC- and the console-versions of the game.
