New concept art from Platinum's Nier

From the makers of Bayonetta and Scalebound in partnership with Square-Enix.

As you may recall from the Square-Enix press conference during E3 in June, Platinum Games are working on a successor to 2010's Nier. There has not yet been said anything about a release date, or release window for that matter, but it has been confirmed as a PlayStation 4 exclusive and it has also been stated that the new game is not a sequel.

Platinum Games have now shared a piece of concept art on their Twitter account accompanied by the text:

"A young boy stares out over a dilapidated city in this wonderful piece of concept art for #NieRNewProject"
