Valve and Psyonix (developers of the hugely popular Rocket League) have come together to announce a few things. First of all, the popular sports game has managed to sell a whopping one million copies since its release last month on Steam. Secondly anyone who has or is about to pre-order any Steam hardware (Steam Link, Steam Controller, Steam Machines) will receive the game free of charge. Thirdly it is now official that the game is heading to Mac and SteamOS (duh!) later this year.

"We're extremely excited about SteamOS and Mac," said Dave Hagewood, Founder and President of Psyonix. "Our PC players have already proven how much passion they have for our game, and this is a great opportunity for us to bring Rocket League to an even wider audience inside the Steam family."

Have you played any Rocket League, yet?
