Avalanche talks about the car in the new Mad Max trailer

Head into the wasteland with this new dev diary.

We're just a few day from the release of Mad Max, and Avalanche have now released a developer's diary called "In the Wasteland" where they tell us more about the car (Magnum Opus) from the game. They have actually built a real life replica with a lot of help from West Coast Customs (best known from Pimp My Ride) and car mechanics.

Listen to lead artist Daniel Persson and director of narrative content Odd Ahlgren being surprisingly humbled and a bit overwhelmed by the prospect of creating this beast on four wheels, not to mention actually driving it.

Mad Max will be released on September 1 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
