It was just a few days ago Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced a new game in the Dead or Alive Xtreme series. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, as it is called, has only been confirmed for a release in Japan to Playstation 4 and PS Vita, which led to an uproar amongst the series fans.

Now producer Yosuke Hayate has declared that all hope isn't lost, and if there is enough demand, he will considering doing a version of the game specifically for western markets. Hayate also says all 15 heroines from the series won't make it to the game, and they will launch themes with the girls for download. The nine most popular downloads will be the ones that make it to the game.

The PS Vita version of the game will also make use of the format specific features with both the touch pad and gyro sensor being used. Exactly how these will benefit Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 remains to be seen.
