Watch Dogs movie planned?
Ubisoft registers domain name.
Ubisoft has sparked speculation of a possible movie tie-in for the recently announced Watch Dogs.
The game left a lasting impression when it debuted at this year's E3. It formed the climax of Ubisoft's press conference, and those in attendance at the show (and at home) were particularly impressed with the new IP.
A report on Fusible has revealed that Ubisoft recently registered several domain names, including WatchDogsmovie.com, WatchDogsthemovie.com, Watch-Dogsmovie.com and Watch-Dogsthemovie.com.
This may just be Ubisoft protecting their new intellectual property after the positive reception the game received after its unveiling earlier this month. That said, with the increasing regularity in which games now crossover into cinema, it's also very likely that the great response to Watch Dogs has prompted Ubisoft to start planning a potential movie.
