If you're jealously gazing at your peers on PC and PlayStation 4 enjoying the fantastic car-football multiplayer madness that is Rocket League, and you're hoping it's also coming to a platform near you, never fear because it sounds like developer Psyonix is planning on taking the game to pastures new.

"We're now in a position that we can expand our team. We are absolutely, 100% going to other platforms," Psyonix marketing chief Jeremy Dunham told GamerZone.

"What those platforms are and when we'll come to them, I don't know yet. Nothing is off the table."

Dunham also explained that the reason the game is only out on PC and PS4 thus far is down to the size of the team:

"We wanted to make sure the game ran well and that it had as many positive elements as possible, and that we weren't just trying to port it to as many platforms as we possibly could just to try to maximize our profit," he explained.

We've really enjoyed out time playing the game on PlayStation 4, and you can read our review right here.

"Matches often descend into violent ramming attacks and opportunistic goal poaching. It doesn't matter though; it's all fun and games."
