On Twitter Paul Rustchynsky - Driveclub's game director - announced that the racing game has sold a total of two million copies. This success comes despite several issues that have affected the game since its launch, and refers to sales both digital and physical, although it doesn't count the PS Plus version.

On July 28 a new expansion, Horsepower, was made available, and it adds five super cars such Ferrari LaFerrari FXX K, Nissan GT-R NISMO, McLaren P1 GTR, Renault Mégane R.S., 275 Trophy-R and Ferrari FXX Evoluzione. The expansion is included in the Season Pass, but you can purchase it separately for £5/€6.
