During last month's E3 we were at Sony's booth and we caught up with Tanya Short, designer at Kitfox Games, to learn more about Moon Hunters, a promising 1-4 players action-RPG game funded on Kickstarter last year.

In the game, as Short explained, the players have "to try to solve the mystery of the missing moon" through the adventures of four heroes (but two more heroes will be unlocked during the adventure) in a procedurally-generated world.

The main and original feature in Moon Hunters is that you can build the mythology of your hero inside the game through your personality, and when we asked how it works, Short explained that during your journey "you'll be presented with different problems" and "how you respond really reflects your personality and it becomes your reputation".

In other words, the mythology of your hero and the world is determined by your actions, and it reacts differently based on the mythology you build during your journey.

Your personality will be also very important in the decisions you take when you play with your friends ("online on Steam, locally on PS4"). In fact, your personality will influence the path to take, and not a decision taken jointly with your friends, as Tanya Short explained:

"For example, if you have a difficult decision, with the mean thing, the nice thing, no matter what you vote for, your personality, your reputation would grow up your way."

As we said earlier, the game was funded on Kickstarter last year. We asked when they're planning to release the game, and Short said: "we're aiming to release the game on January on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux, some months later on PS4 and on PS Vita after that".
