The Following effectively doubles the size of Dying Light

Polish developers Techland have shed "some light" on the upcoming expansion "The Following" for their hit zombie game Dying Light ahead of its proper reveal at Gamescom next week. Something that was teased last week was ATV's and as you can spot in these screens you'll be able to traverse the large new area via four wheel drive.

"For Dying Light: The Following we're adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion," said Tymon Smektala, producer, Dying Light: The Following, via the press release. "Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we're packing in here."

"We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we've created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans."

The Following is part of Dying Light's season pass at no extra cost, and will also be made available as a paid download for non-season pass holders.
