New PS4 update can cause disc reading problems

The PlayStation 4 very rarely receives major updates, as Sony opts for a more immediate stream of smaller tweaks and fixes.

This sometimes results in unintentional bugs, and this time, it seems that the latest update causes disc reading problems when booting from rest mode, as reported on NeoGAF Reddit and Attackofthefanboy.

The bug occurs when putting a new disc in the system, and letting it boot from rest mode. If you turn on the system this way, reading issues with the disc may occur, and if this happens, you need to fully restart the PS4, and not put it back into rest mode, as this seems to be the root of the problem.

Hopefully Sony manages to fix the bug soon, as this might cause frustration, if you switch discs often. We'll keep you posted.
