By now it's well known that the situation between Hideo Kojima and Konami is complicated, but apparently no one would have expected - including a popular US YouTuber who recently conducted an interview with Konami's community manager Robert Peeler during E3 - that the relationship is at breaking point, and that the company doesn't even want to mention his name during interviews.

The request was made during the aforementioned interview (which you can see here), where Peeler explicitly asked to not to mention Kojima's name in the questions, leaving Joe Vargas (aka Angry Joe) quite puzzled. In short, the split between the two parties now seems more dramatic than its early stages indicated, and there doesn't seem to be any kind of reconciliation on the horizon, even considering the forthcoming release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
