A senior writer at Bioware, Jennifer Helper, may have let slip details that could indicate Dragon Age III is leaving the pre-production stage of development, and entering into production.
In an interview published on Bioware's website, Helper answered a question regarding her day-to-day duties: "At the moment, we are at the end of pre-production and beginning of production, so I am bouncing between outlining new stories and starting to write dialogue for the larger plots that are already developed."
Now, Helper has been working on Star Wars: The Old Republic as well as the Dragon Age series, so it may well be the MMO that she is referring to. But if it isn't, these comments may indicate a sequel is in the works for the popular fantasy RPG.
