Funcom are taking beta testers to Hell and back in the third beta weekend for MMO, The Secret World.

Festivities are due to start on June 15 at 9am PDT (that's Friday at 5pm over here) and are ending on June 17 at 11.59pm PDT (Monday morning at 7.59am).

Beta testers will have access to a variety of new features, including the Dragon and Illuminati starter experiences.

Previous beta weekends yielded the Templar starter experience and a town called Kingsmouth. New content will include a much bigger playing area, The Savage Coast, plus a double dose of dungeons: The Polaris and Hell Rising.

"We are very encouraged by both the numbers of beta registrations and the positive feedback we are getting from our testers," says Funcom CEO Trond Arne Aas.

"The fact that so many gamers want to play  ‘The Secret World' combined with the high purchase intent among testers is something we consider a very positive indicator."

The game is set for release on July 4, with early access opening up for pre-ordering customers on June 29.
