David Cage teases next project

"It's going to be very different"

David Cage, the man behind Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit (or Indigo Prophecy, depending on where you live), told Gametrailers TV that he has already started to write on his next game.

"I have written the next game, so I have a very clear idea. It's not fully written, it still in the synopsis stage, but I have a very clear idea for where I want to go next," he said, adding that "I don't want just to make some kind of sequel or whatever, I really want to continue to explore and discover new things and experiment, this is what I'm really excited about."

Calling it "very different" and "very surprising", he also noted that the timeframe for the new game might be "less than you think".
