Using an exploit to interrupt the connections of their opponents, some Destiny players have been swinging results in their favour in the hugely competitive new PvP mode, Trials of Osiris. Bungie has banned the worst offenders, explaining in a blog post:

"Not everyone became legend in Trials of Osiris. There were reports that some of you had your connections interrupted. We're on the case!

"There were some among you who took nefarious action against your opponents. Our intrepid team of investigators has diagnosed the most egregious cheaters among us. If you earned your victories by sinister means, you may very well have also earned a temporary (or permanent) time-out.

"Bungie is always watching. We enjoy a fair fight and we aim to protect the landscape of the game. Play nice!"

The same blog post also offered two rather interesting heat maps that showed the most popular combat zones in the map used during last week's Trials (all matches during the weekend-long event are played in the same location).

This week's Trials of Osiris event is now up and running, so grab a couple of comrades and get chasing after that elusive 9-0 win.
