Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 named and detailed

The new Tony Hawk game in development at Activision and Robomodo has been officially unveiled. It's called Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 and it's heading to PS4 and Xbox One later this year, and will follow on X360 and PS3 thereafter.

According to the report on Game Informer the game will be a nod to the old school origins of the series, although the game will get new features like power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles.

There's going to be objectives and missions for both solo and online co-op play. Players will be able to create skate parks and share them with each other.

According to the site the skaters that will feature in the game include Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni, and Andrew Reynolds. Of course, Tony Hawk is going to be in there too.
