Rare to announce new game at E3

A fan has taken to Twitter to ask Rare's creative director, Simon Woodroffe, when we are going to get to see what the studio has been working on for so long. Woodroffe answered: "E3 will tell the world what Gregg Mayles new project is about."

For those of you who aren't familiar with Mayles, he was one of the main creators behind the Donkey Kong Country games, and he also was the director for Banjo Tooie as well as the designer for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Other Rare games on his resume is Donkey Kong Country 64, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, and Viva Piñata.

A reasonable guess would be that Mayles and the team are working on a true Banjo-Kazooie sequel, but at the end of the day your guess is as good as ours because we can't be sure either way. Roll on E3...
