We sent Solfinn to the Call of Duty Championship in Los Angeles this weekend and in this interview he talks to Major League Gaming president Mike Sepso about the event, Call of Duty as e-sports and much more.

"It's pretty amazing I mean this is the first year that we've had fans live in the arena, so it's been awesome," says Sepso. "The energy is incredible, there was a ton of upsets this morning (Sunday morning). It's going to be a wonderful tournament."

"Over the past several years we at MLG have worked really closely with Activision, and the studios developing the Call of Duty franchise and they've been incredibly responsive to the e-sports community. And so, I think you can see in the game, in Advanced Warfare, how much focus was built into the game in terms of the mechanics of the game, the maps, the game modes and then also the broadcasting components. The capability to really take the game and have that spectator mode built in so that we can broadcast something that looks like a traditional sport."

The Call of Duty Championship 2015 was won by Denial eSports and we will provide you with more interviews from the event with both developers and players over the coming week.
