The bods over at Unseen64, a website and podcast show which deals with canned games have, for their latest episode, been doing some digging into the no-show of Ubisoft's Zombi U sequel.
The game was in development, but never made it out of pre-production, reports the site. It had roughly 5-10 people working on it, and one of the major new additions was supposed to be co-op with one person using the Wii U GamePad, with the other using the Pro Controller. The game was going to have multiple routes and a bigger emphasis on survival horror in a "run-down, zombie apocalypse setting". Other new features included a more diverse weapon list.
Unfortunately, we're most likely never going to see another game in the series, but it is still nice to know what could have been.
