Techland's Dying Light only managed one week in first spot on the UK charts as Grand Theft Auto V climbed back to number one this week. That makes it 8 weeks in total at number one with two more weeks needed to tie the franchise record set by GTA: Vice City with ten weeks back in 2002.

An interesting note is that Dying Light outsold GTAV on both PS4 and Xbox One and that it was the old-gen versions (most notably Xbox 360) that carried GTAV to number one in what must have been a very close battle.

Elsewhere re-releases did well with Ninja Theory's DMC Devil May Cry - Definitive Edition on PS4 and Xbox One entering at number 5 and Rebellion's Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition getting tenth spot.
