Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier managed to take top spot ahead of Max Payne 3 in its first week in the British sales charts. It's the best launch week in the series to date, even if it should be noted that the most recent game saw releases on different platforms spread out on various dates.

Last week's number one Max Payne 3 holds on to second place, while Capcom's Dragon's Dogma races in at third with Dirt Showdown following in fourth. Another new entry, Mario Open Tennis for Nintendo 3DS, also scores a respectable first week in 11th place (9th in the single SKU chart).
