According to the Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer, Microsoft has somewhat forgot gaming on PC - but he'll make sure to fix this. One of the ways to do this is to connect all of their Windows 10 formats together with cross-buy. That means if, for example, you buy Pinball FX for Xbox One, you can then continue to play it on a PC at a friend's house and then continue to play it on your Surface tablet (or smartphone) when you're at work.
Microsoft will offer the tools to the developers to do this, and Phil Spencer says: "The games you own are the games you own. Play them on any device you own. We want people to play games wherever they are."
