Wasteland 2 launched last year on PC after a wait of 25 long years following the original game's release (although there was the early Fallout games in the interim). We really enjoyed the game, and as it turns out more people will soon be able to try out this epic RPG as it heads to a new platform.
Late last night during the GDC conference, Inxile Entertainment announced that the RPG will also get a console release on Xbox One sometime later this year. It will be a "Game of the Year" edition with plenty of improvements as shown in the first trailer (which can be seen below).
Here's what you can look forward to:
• New Quirks and Perks System
• New Precision Strike System
• Complete Art & Lighting Overhaul Including Use of Unity 5's New Physically Based Rendering
• Updated Character Models For All Party Members
• New Voice Over For All Major Speaking Parts & CNPC's
