The initial release of Grand Theft Auto V is now 18 months behind us, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions saw light of day back in November of last year.

Even so, the game is still going strong sales wise with an impressive 31.8 million dollars in profit from GTA V sales in January in the United States alone.

The numbers are supplied by Game Rant, who point towards a favourable Xbox One bundle deal and the upcoming Heists missions as the main reasons for the continued success.

Grand Theft Auto V secured a place among the best selling games of all time long before the PS4 and Xbox One versions were even announced, and with the PC edition still to come there is still nowhere to go but up.
