It's not been that long since Markus "Notch" Persson sold Mojang to Microsoft and in the process netted himself the lion's share of $2.5 billion.

Since then he's been getting his head around his new found mega-wealth, however it seems that it's not the money that's making him happy at the moment, but the fact that he's back behind a keyboard and developing games once more.

"The one trick pony thing was hard to deal with. Matching the insane success of Minecraft would be impossible. I'm ok with it now," he said in a conversation on Twitter.

"Once I remembered I make games because I find it's fun, I just got back to small prototypes I don't even show people. And the fun is back! Programming is annoying and frustrating, but SO MUCH FUN. And then when most prototypes are horribly unplayable, nobody judges me :D"

Notch acknowledged that one this prototypes is unlikely to end up, as one person suggested, being a "gaming superhit."

"Oh, almost certainly not," he replied, "and it feels nice to finally be ok with that."

"I would like to compare Minecraft to my favourite TV show of all times - Seinfeld. It's a game about nothing."
