Bungie responds to report

"Well, that just happened"

Bungie have issued a brief comment on the revelation of their contract with Activision on their website under the header, "Well, that just happened".

Destiny a game that we're unlikely to see anything of during E3 2012, is probably going to be shown fairly soon, perhaps with an official unveiling this fall.

"So, yeah. While we're not ready to show you what we've been working on, we can reconfirm that we are hard at work on our new universe. We can't wait for you to see it.

See you starside in 2013."

The word starside was crossed over, whether that is a significant clue or just a little teaser, remains to be seen.
