Björn Borg and Isbit Games have launched the browser-based (you can download it as well) advergame First Person Lover today (find it here). The game got quite a lot of attention as it was announced and the idea of "spoofing" the first person shooter is executed in a nice way.

We talked to producer Markus Koos about the project recently to find out more.

"We started off at Isbit Games just producing some small games and then we got a call from Björn Borg and they wanted to do a game with the intention of doing something with the first person shooter genre," said Markus Koos. "And people at Isbit Games have been working on first person shooters for quite a while in different projects. So we got really excited to do something different with it. Cause Björn Borg has this statement of making the world a better place with love and that was a perfect match to do something different with the first person shooter genre. To do love instead of violence."

The background of the team at Isbit Games is that of flash animators that became surplus to requirements and then went on to create menus and UI for various video games (including Battlefield and Dust 514) - as they wanted to do games of their own Isbit Games was founded. Below is the launch trailer.
