Windows 10 is set to be released at the end of next year. The new features set to appear in the new operating system will be unveiled at a separate event at the end January, and not at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, according to The Verge. This time, the consumer-faced unveiling will apparently be more significant and there are many new features that Microsoft wants to show, including a new touch interface dubbed "Continuum".
We also await details for Windows phones and tablets, and there are still rumours of a possible dashboard update for Xbox One, as Windows 10 is designed to run across multiple devices. Details for the unveiling event should be announced before the end of the year, and we'll update you as soon as we know more.
