We snagged a couple of minutes with Boel Bermann, Game Writer at Paradox Development Studio and talked about Norse mythology, RPG, characters, and more.

"I don't think there's been a game that has truly delved this deep into Norse mythology before. We've done a ton of research and are really trying to make the myths come alive."

Runemaster features a procedurally generated world where quests and geography will change for each playthrough.

"The Valdimar guy that we saw in the presentation (link). He's appearing in like 10-15 quests, but you may only get one or two of those. You may kill him. He may actually fall ill. He may recover. He may turn into a dragon. Or he may guide you towards other worlds. And just the fact that you can go to these and they can tell you small bits and pieces of how they see the story or how they see what's going on in the world gives you different perspectives."

It's coming out on both PC and PS4 next year.
