EA confirms Dead Space 3

EA last night revealed their plan to release Dead Space 3.

In an investor call last night it was revealed what we can expect from the publisher in the next financial year: "At the foundation is another year of blockbuster brands: Madden NFL, FIFA, Sim City, Medal of Honor, Dead Space, and Need for Speed as well as mobile hits like The Simpsons Tapped Out, and Bejeweled."

EA then followed up with this email to Game Informer: "There's no further information today but watch for several big product announcements from EA at E3 in June."

The game has been rumored for some time, with earlier reports suggesting protagonist Isaac would switch the corridor heavy setting of planet-cracking vessels and space stations in favour of an ice planet called Tau Volantis. You can read more details here.

Now the game has been confirmed, all we need is a release date. Hurry up EA, we want to slice the arms off more Necromorphs!
