News Highlights: Fri 4 May

May the 4th be with you.

In case you've managed to miss it, today is the official Star Wars day. The good folks at Bioware are discounting Star Wars: The Old Republic to celebrate, so in case you've been on the fence you may want to head over there.

Other than that we were happy to hear news on Company of Heroes 2, and that a new Family Guy game is on the way.

We also got more evidence that The Creative Assembly are working hard on a game set in the Alien universe. According to reports the next Xbox is already in production.

Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson went on a rant about the fact that EA published an "indie" bundle.

It's been an all out indie day on GRTV with interviews on Ngmoco's Skyfall, the intriguing strategy offering of Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Ceasar, and the novel proposition of a card based MMO in the shape of Visions of Zosimos.
