Minecraft dev lays into EA
Heated response to "indie" label.

Minecraft designer Markus ‘Notch' Persson has caused a stir by labeling major publisher Electronic Arts as a "bunch of cynical bastards".
His comments came in response to EA announcing the release of the EA Indie Bundle. Persson was unhappy with the publisher trying to lay claim to phrase ‘Indie'.
His scathing assessment of EA came via Twitter (and was spotted by Gamasutra), and came after the company revealed they were releasing a compilation of games including Death Spank, Shank 2 and Warp.
"EA releases an "indie bundle"? That's not how that works, EA. Stop attempting to ruin everything, you bunch of cynical bastards."
"Indies are saving gaming. EA is methodically destroying it."
He followed up his comment with his declaration that he thinks Mojang are now too big to be considered ‘Indie'.
