Capcom released a financial report, which shows that publisher's profits fell by around 50 per cent in the first six months of this fiscal year (starting April 1, 2014) when compared to last year. Net sales were 25.917 million yen (around €188 million), which was 53.1 per cent less when looking at the same period from last year where sales were 53.234 million yen (about €387 million). The company still managed to make profit with net income for the last six months at 2.973 million yen (€21,61 million) down 41.6 per cent.

This is credited to the lack of big titles, as the digital content unit hasn't launched any big titles during the last six months. Ultra Street Fighter IV is selling steadily. Last year's big success can be at least partially thanks to the launch of new Monster Hunter game in Japan.

During the next six months the company will launch a few games, including remakes of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, and Resident Evil. Also a new Resident Evil game is just around the corner are Revelations 2 arrives on several platforms next year. There was also a new Monster Hunter released in Japan at the start of the third quarter of the fiscal year, so the next set of numbers is likely going to show improvement.
