Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox division at Microsoft, said in interview for IGN, that the December update for Xbox One will be smaller than expected. Some of the promised features won't make it, and one of these is the ability to take screen shots. It seems that taking snap shots of games is harder than expected, and Spencer said he had been asking the development team about it.
"We can do video, how hard can it be to just grab a frame of the video?" Spencer said. "It's a little more technically challenging than I thought. Two weeks ago, they think they've found a good solution for screenshots. They're working on it. They know people want it. The team has a path to getting it done, and now it's just prioritizing."
Spencer also said that the team is working on improving the install times on Xbox One, and that it's a priority for himself personally.
