In the last thirteen years Microsoft has managed to shift an incredible 60 million Halo games, the company has confirmed. According to the platform holder the huge number of games sold has driven over 6 billion hours of gameplay. With Halo: The Master Chief Collection launching next month, and with Halo 5: Guardians also on the horizon (and not forgetting the recently announced Halo: Spartan Strike), these impressive figures will no doubt continue to rise.

The announcement of these sales figures come ahead of the launch of Halo: MMC, which is set to land on Xbox One on November 11. The game will feature all four numbered Halo games, and will include the multiplayer for each of those games. The Master Chief Collection also recently went gold.
