Watch The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt intro on Thursday

Spectacular trailers and intro sequences are the norm these days. However, there are still some studios that get more attention than others when it comes to their CGI clips. We're talking of course about Blizzard, Square Enix... and in this particular case, CD Projekt Red.

With regards to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's cinematic intro, producer Stan Just told Gamereactor that they were "striving to do the best" and "cooperating with one of the best CG companies in the world."

This is not unexpected given the expectation surrounding the game after the incredible opening trailer to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (which was added when the PC version of the game was ported to Xbox 360), and the more recent Cyberpunk 2077 teaser trailer.

Now, fans of these cinematics, and those who want to know more about the third adventure in the series, will be able to "watch Geralt of Rivia following The Trail, in an epic intro foreshadowing the main storyline of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", on October 24, 15:45 BST, during the Golden Joystick Awards.
