Playstation Plus offers up a solid October

A total of four games on PS4 including Driveclub and Spelunky.

The official PlayStation Blog has listed October's free games for PS Plus members. The offering looks pretty good, since there are multiple good titles. PS4 owners can cruise along in Driveclub Playstation Plus Edition, while on PS3 players can take a literal trip to the madhouse in Batman: Arkham Asylum. On Vita you can experience roleplaying with Rainbow Moon or go exploring randomly generated caves in Spelunky (which is cross-buy, meaning you'll also get it on PS4 and PS3).
