Black Forest Games talk Dieselstörmers

Martin catches up with Dieselstörmers' game designer Stefan Schmitz to learn more about the game and its development.

"The idea is you take Probotector gameplay and you lace it with Diablo III elements and with Borderlands elements," says Schmitz of the "run and gun" game. "You've got this package of awesome basically. So you've got customisable weapons, customisable armour, and lots of loot you get in the levels and the levels are randomly generated and on top you have classical arcade platformer run and gun gameplay."

Dieselstörmers is available through Early Access on Steam now, with a full release planned for early 2015. New-gen console versions (PS4, Xbox One) will follow and it's possible it will also hit Wii U.
