As you might recall from last week, a demo of the long awaited Square Enix title Final Fantasy XV will be released next year along with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. But that doesn't necessarily mean the game itself will arrive 2015, and in an interview with Kotaku, game director Hajime Tabata says it's around 55% complete.
Considering the fact that Final Fantasy XV has been in develoement for almost nine years (originally called Final Fantasy Versus XIII), it might not sound that impressive. But then again, development percentage are a rather intricate science.
By the sounds of it the most likely scenario is that Final Fantasy XV will be released in 2016 and that this console generation (as well as the previous one) will have very traditional main entries in the Final Fantasy series.
