If news agency Reuters is to be believed, Microsoft will confirm that they have indeed bought Mojang, with the announcement set to be made on Monday (tomorrow). And the rumoured price of $2 billion seems to have been boosted even further, with the final price now being suggested as being around $2.5 billion.
According to Reuters, Windows Phones are the main reason for Microsoft buying Mojang. It has been the top payed for app on both Android and iOS for a long time, and Microsoft wants in on that action.
There has been a lot of smoke surrounding this deal, which started earlier this week, and where there's smoke, there's usually a fire. We'll probably get to know the truth at the beginning of next week.
