In a conference call with investors and analysts EA CEO John Riccitello confirmed that Bioware's first MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic looks set to be released towards the end of EA's fiscal 2011 (ending April 1 next year). Given the nature of development on a massively multiplayer online title EA has opted out of including any revenue from Star Wars: The Old Republic in their projections for 2011, which is probably a good idea since these kind of titles have a tendency to slip.
Hopefully Bioware will soon be ready to move into some kind of closed beta stage, but there is obviously some time before the game will see full release.
