We caught up with Rachel Franklin, executive producer on The Sims 4 to learn more about the life simulation that's just getting ready for release, what the plans ahead are and some of the most hilarious bugs that popped up during development.

Franklin, who sports an impressive array of acronyms on her business cards, said "we continue to surprise ourselves even with what the game can do" of its development.

"The exciting thing about The Sims is it's a life simulation and life keeps on changing," said Franklin. "It keeps on going, and people the way they live their lives change and so the fodder that we have to play with is unending."

The Sims 4 see release later this week.
