Sega have announced they'll release Total War: Rome II - Emperor's Edition at retail this September, which will include all the post-launch tweaks and DLC to date, and include a brand new campaign map. Pre-existing owners of the game will get the new campaign map as a free download at the same time.
Along with the ‘Imperator Augustus' Campaign Pack, which offers a new campaign map "reflecting the geopolitical boundaries of the Second Triumvirate War", the newly updated version of the game will include "an improved politics system, overhauled building chains, rebalanced battles, and improved visuals in both campaign and battle," according to Creative Assembly.
There's no RRP for the retail edition just yet.
